Program
Camp El provides artists with independent time to concentrate on self-guided research or a project of their choice. Seasonal retreats range from two to four weeks in duration.
Artists of all disciplines and career levels are welcome to apply. There are no production requirements, although we welcome project proposals. Artists interested in land art, culinary practices, gardening, landscape construction, and experimentation are also welcome to apply. The program accommodates one artist/duo at a time. Partners, collaborators, and pets are welcome.
Artists attend Camp El for free. Camp El does not cover food, transportation, and material costs.
Eligibility
at least 18 years of age
not enrolled in an educational program at the time of residency
not participating in another residency at the time of residency

Note: With two-week sessions, dates are flexible and will be negotiated individually with each artist.
